My name is Walter, and my journey with Italian Greyhounds began in one of the most unexpected places, during my time serving in the military. As a veteran, I have experienced both the highs and lows of life, but one constant source of comfort and love has always been my dogs. When I returned home, I found solace in the companionship of these incredible animals. Their gentle nature, unwavering loyalty, and affectionate demeanor helped me transition into civilian life, offering me the emotional support I never knew I needed. My wife, Madeline, and I, along with our three wonderful children, decided to turn our love for Italian Greyhounds into something bigger, a way to share the same joy and comfort we experienced with others. That’s how Elite Greyhounds Kennel was born. For us, these dogs are not just pets; they are family. We pour our hearts into raising them with the love and care they deserve so that they can bring happiness to families just like ours.
